Soojeong is a creator of comedy stuff and sometimes serious stuff. As a writer, she served as Executive Story Editor for the Netflix action-comedy series, THE BROTHERS SUN starring Michelle Yeoh. Her stories are personal, funny, and stupid, and have sold to Max, Netflix, and Showtime.

As an actor, you can see her in A GOOD PERSON opposite Florence Pugh, recurring on Netflix KALEIDOSCOPE, Apple TV SERVANT, and HBO Max SEARCH PARTY. She was also in an APPLE commercial and they didn’t give her a free laptop. Most recently she performed her one-woman clown show, CUM at Ars Nova Theater and it ruled.

As an award-winning filmmaker, she has written and directed films and viral shorts including SOOJUNG DREAMS OF FIJI (Audience Award AAIFF), GHOST (Official Selection Just For Laughs), and F*CKING JAPANESE (Vulture critic’s pick). Soojeong is based in Brooklyn, NY, a member of the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective and has been supported by Yaddo and The Foundation House. Soojeong is currently developing her first feature film about friendship.
